On World Book Day, it’s crucial that we all use the best and most powerful skill we’ve ever been taught – the ability to read.
Books can take you to faraway places without taking a step; can show you things that are impossible to see; can make you laugh and cry and care for people who never drew a breath. It doesn’t matter if the words are fashioned from ink or pixels – books are entire worlds waiting to be discovered by you.
Whether you like scanning the back of the box of cereal in the morning or enjoy telling your kids a bedtime story, make sure you get plenty of words into your day. Here’s what I’ll be reading with one eye later on tonight before hitting the hay.
